How to make paneer at home.

Paneer is very famous in all over world. we make lots of Dish with paneer. paneer is available every where, but you know this is very easy to make at home. home made paneer is more soft and testy then market paneer. and home made paneer is healthy also.

Lets see what ingredients are require to make paneer.

Ingredients:

  • Milk                       1 letter (full cream)
  • Lemon or vinegar   1.5 table spoon



Method.

First of all boil the full cream milk. when this milk get boil then add lemon juice or vinegar and stir it continuously . at this time you will see milk and water get separate.  now turn off gas.


Now take a soft cloth and sieve it .Squeeze the cloth with hands to strain any excess water from the paneer and take it out from the cloth.




Now  place a heavy object at the end of the cloth for half an hour. Within half an hour, the paneer will become hard.

You can use this paneer to make a curry or any other delicious dishes.

Home made paneer is ready.

suji (Rawa) ka halwa.

 Suji(Rawa) halwa


Suji halwa is very famous indian desert. When you want to eat some thing sweet that time you can make this halwa. because this is instant make desert.  this is very popular dish in all over india. this Halwa is very tasty and easy recipe. so lets see what ingredients are require to make this suji halwa.

Ingredients:

Suji(Rawa)
1 bowl
Ghee
4 table spoon
Sugar
1 bowl
Water
As per requirement
Cashew & rasin
As your choice

Method:
1. Heat the non stick pan. Add 2 table spoon ghee.

2. Now add suji. and roast this suji on low flame.

3. Roast this suji till become brown in colour and nice aroma will come from suji.

4. Take it out in bowl.

5. Now add water in a pan. when water get boil then add sugar . cook it for a minute.

6. Now add roasted suji and stir it till all water absorb. and cook it for 5  minute.

7. Now add 2 table spoon ghee. and stir it continuously.

8. At last add resin and cashew and turn off gas. serve this suji halwa hot with add 1 little spoon ghee.

Rawa kesari bhat

Kesari bhath  is an Indian Dessert that is popular throughout the country originated from the Kanataka and is a popular dish during festivals  word Kesari refers to the spice saffron which is used, resulting in its saffron-orange-yellow-colored tinge.Though it is a sweet dish, inKarnataka. it is prepared not only as a sweet dish but also for normal breakfasts. this kesri bhat is also  known as suji halwa.

Ingredients.
 
Rawa
1 Bowl
Sugar
1 bowl
Ghee
3-4 table spoon
Milk
1/2 cup
Kesar
6-7
Water
2 bowl


Method:

1. Heat the pan add 1 table spoon ghee.

2. When it get hot then ad suji and roast it on low flame till nice aroma come. and light change in colour.

3. Now in hot milk add 5-6 kesar. and leave it for 5 minute it will become saffron in colour.

4. now add water in non stick pan when it get boiling then add suji.

5. stir it continuously.

6. Now add milk and stir it with non stop.

7. Now add sugar. and mix it well.

8. At last we ill add 2 table spoon ghee. and stir it till ghee come out from suji.

9. Now add cashew resin and almonds.

10. Grease a bowl with ghee and pour this kesari bhat in bowl and make a cake shape.garnish it with resin and cashew.




Now kesari bhat is ready serve it hot and enjoy.

water:rawa=2:1
Rawa:sugar= 1:1

Crispy Paneer cutlets

Hello friend today i am going to make crispy paneer cutlets. this is very tasty yummy cutlets. this is tea time snacks. you know every rainy evening you want to eat something spicy and hot. so this paneer cutlets will help you to make your evening special.
So lets see what ingredients are require to make this cutlets.

Ingredients:

Paneer
4 squre shape slice
Besan
1 bowl
Salt
As per taste
Black paper
1/2 tea spoon
soda
1 pinch
oil
For frying

Method:

1. First of all cut paneer in cutlet shape. and you can cut in square shape also.

2. Now we prepare batter for these cutlet.

3. We will take a large bowl add gram flour.

4. Add salt, black paper and 1 pinch of soda.

5. Mix all ingredient well.

6. With the help of water make a smooth batter.

7. This batter should be thick in consistency , but as well as smooth also. 

8. Now heat the pan add enough oil for frying.

9. Now Take a 1 slice of paneer deep it in besan batter. and then put it into the heated oil.

10. cook it on low flame for 5 minutes it will be only yellowish in colour.  we will not cook it till become brown(because it will done by 2nd round).

11. Now take it out from oil. cut this slice in four or two piece. now again put it in oil. now we will fry it till become golden brown in colour on low flame.

Now paneer cutlets are ready enjoy this cutlets with green chutany or tamarind chutany.

Laccha parantha.

Laccha paratha

Hello friends today i am going to make laccha parantha. laccha parantha is famous in all over india. This layered paratha is also popular as kerala parotta in malabar region of kerala. this is a multi layer paratha. and this is very easy to make . so lets see how to make laccha paratha.

Ingredient:

  • Wheat flour 1 bowl
  • Maida          1/2 bowl
  • Oil                2 tea spoon
  • Salt              1/2 tea spoon

Method.

1.First of all in large bowl we will take 1 bowl wheat flour and 1/2 bowl maida.

2. Add 2 table spoon oil.

3. Add 1/2 table spoon salt.

4. Now with the help of lukewarm water we will make a soft dough .

5. Keep it a side for 5- 10 minutes.

Now we will make paratha.

Take a small part of dough like lemon size roll it with help of palm. Roll out dough ball in a circular shape (approx. 7-8 inch in diameter) or as thin as possible. Now spread 1/2 teaspoon ghee or oil evenly over entire surface using brush or your hand and sprinkle 1 teaspoon dry wheat flour over it. now roll this roti with make a strips. we will make a long strips. now roll it again. and make a thin paratha.

Now heat the tawa and cook this parantha on medium flame. apply ghee on both side and enjoy this laccha parantha with shahi paneer and dum aloo.

Vada pav

Authentic vada pav marathi style  
vada pav is very famous maharashtrian street food. The vada is made of a spicy 
potato filling deep fried in a gram flour batter. 

This dish was initially started as the cheapest form of a meal for low income group, but due to its taste, this dish became so popular, many people have it at breakfast, lunch or even dinner as well.
vada pav served with spicy peanut chutany and fried green chilly.

 Lets see what ingredients are require to make this vada pav.
Ingredient:-

Potato
4 Medium size (boiled)
Onion
1 medium size
Green chilly
4-5
Ginger
1 inches piece
Garlic
4-5 cloves
Salt
1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder
1/2 tea spoon
saunf
1/2 tea spoon
Cumin seed
1/2 tea spoon
Mustard seed
1/2 tea spoon
Kadi patta
10-12 leaves
Besan
1 Small bowl
Soda
1 pinch
Oil
For frying
Pav buns
4-5 piece

Method:-

(For making vada)

1. Peel and mash the potatoes. chopped the onion in very small part.

2.  Grind the Ginger, Garlic and green chilly.

3. Now heat the pan and put 2 table spoon oil.

4. When it get hot then add saunf, jeera and mustard seed, when these are are crack than add kadi patta and fter it ginger garlic paste.

5. Now cook it for 1 minute. then add onion and cook it till become transparent.

6. Now add mashed potato and add salt and turmeric powder. mix all ingredient well. cook it for 2 minutes. now turn off gas.

Now we prepare better for vada pav. 

1. First of in a bowl we will Take besan(Gram flour).

2. Add salt and 1 pinch soda.(to make them crispy)

3. Make a better with the help of water.  whisk the batter to make it smooth. Leave the batter for 15 minutes to set.

Now everything is ready we will prepare vada pav.

  •  Heat a deep fry pan put some oil for frying vada. when oil get hot then take one part of potato make a small ball, and dip it into gram flour better , and put into the oil. cook it on medium flame, make all ball in same manner, you can cook 3-4 vada at the same time. cook it till vada become a brown in colour. cook all vaa in same manner. 

Now enjoy this vada with pav. vada pav is ready serve it with peanut chutany and fried green chilly.

 

 

How to make peanut chutany-:
Grind and roasted peanuts+ salt+ red chilly powder+ginger garlic patse+1 spoon oil.
Mix all ingredient well.

GUJRATI THEPLA.

 Methi thepla

Thepla is Gurjati dish. it can be made by different method . but today i am going to make methi thepla. this is very testy and healthy. making of thepla is very easy also.

Ingredients.


  • Wheat flour
1 bowl
  • Gram flour
1/2 Bowl
  • Oil
4 table spoon
  • Methi
1 bowl fine chopped
  • Green chilly
1 chopped
  • Salt
1 /2 tea spoon
  • Turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon
  • Corinder powder
1/2 tea spoon
  • Sugar
1/2 tea spoon
  • Lemon juice
1 tea spoon
  • Cumin seed
1 tea spoon



Method

1. First of a large a bowl mix wheat and gram flour. now add oil. and mix it well.

2.Now add fine chopped methi. and all spices. add salt, green chilly, red chilly powder, turmeric powder,  coriander powder, cumin seed, sugar, lemon juice.

3. Mix all ingredient well.

4. Now knead a soft dough with the help of lukewarm water, dough should be soft like roti. keep it a side for 10-15 minute to set this dough.


5. now heat the tawa.

6. we will take small part of dough, like lemon size.  roll giving it a round shape. Dust the dough ball with some dry flour and place it on rolling pin. Now roll thinly into 6-7 inch diameter thepla.

7.Now place this thepla on tawa. cook it on medium flame.apply oil on both side, cook it when it get brown in colour.

8. Cook all thepla in same manner..

9. serve this theple with chilly pickle or curd.

Point to remember.

Don't cook thepla on low flame and more crispy. because it will be get creak. these theple are very thin. and it will not take much time to cook.
