Palak paneer is very healthy and vegetarian indian dish. it is very easy to prepare. lets see what ingredient are require to make palak paneer.
Ingredient:-
- Palak( spinach) - 400 gm
- Paneer -150 gram
- Tomato - 3 medium size
- Onion -2 medium size
- Ginger Garlic Paste
- Green chilly -3-4
- Ghee -1 table spoon
- Cinnamon and cardamom -1 piece
- Bay leaf -1
- Cumin seed -1 tea spoon
- Red chilly -1/2 Tea spoon
- Coriander powder -1/4 tea spoon
- Salt as per taste
- Garam masala -1/4 tea spoon
Method. (For making puree):-
1. Clean spinach from stem and rinse the spinach leaves in running water.
2. Boil 4 cup of water and add cleaned spinach leaves.
3. You can boil this palak in pressure cooker also.
4. cook it for 5 minute.
5. immediate remove pressure from the cooker. and Drain this palak. one most important thing to prevent green color add cold water in it.
6. Grind this boiled palak with green chilly, ginger.
No need to add water while making puree keep it a side.
Gravy:-
1. First of all take a kadai or pan . add 1 spoon ghee.
2. when it getting heat add some cumin seed, bay leaf, cinnamon, and cardamom
3. Add fine chooped garlic cook it for a minute.
4.. Now add tomato onion paste.
5. cook it for 5 minute.
6. Add red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, mix it well.
7. Now stir continuously till ghee get separate.
8 Now add palak puree . stir it.
9 Add salt. Now cook it for 5 minute then add require water. depend of taste .
10.Stir them till gravy and puree will mix each other and cook it well.
11.For garnishing or give them feel like a restaurant add 2 spoon fresh cream. stir Again
12. add Garam masala and lemon juice.
13. At last add paneer. you can cut paneer in your desired shape and size.
14. stir them and cook it at low flame for 2-3 minute.
Now palak paneer is ready You can serve this palak paneer with naan or parantha
