     Moong dal Halwa


Hello friends today i am going to make moong daal halwa. A classic recipe that is relished throughout rajasthan during the winter month. as it it supposed to keep the body warm and protect it from the bitter winter cold . lets see how to make moong daal halwa. 

Ingredients which are require to make moong daal halwa

1. Moong daal   : 1 Bowl
2. Ghee.             :  1/2 bowl
3. Milk               : 1/2 liter
4. Sugar              :  1Bowl
5, saffron       
5. Dry fruit.         : 1/2 bowl


Method.

1. Soak the moong daal 3-4 hour. 
2. Blend it in mixture without using water
3. Heat the pan
4. Add ghee and moong daal paste. and cook it for 25-30 minute on low flame. till colour  change. 
5. Stir it continuously 
6. In other pan boil the milk till become half of its quantity. add little saffron also while boiling the milk.
7.Now add cooked moong daal in milk and again cook it for 5-7 minute.   
 8.  In a other pan make a chashani (syrup) add sugar and water in equal quantity. cook it and make a single wire chashani. 
9. Add this syrum in cooked moong daal mixture . cook it again 5 minute. and add chopped dry fruits and cardamom .
10 Serve hot with garnishing .
You can keep in refrigerator for store and use it for 4-5 days.
